LUSD partners with Santa Barbara County Education Office and Communify to offer high-quality preschool classes located on Lompoc elementary school sites.

California State Preschool Program (CSPP) – Santa Barbara County Education Office

These programs support the individual needs of families by providing education on the development of children, parenting classes, and direct links to community resources.  Children participating in our programs receive nutrition services, health screenings, and social/emotional support to reach their fullest potential. Head Start – CommUnify

Available to qualified low-income families, these services are sensitive to each family’s linguistic, ethnic, and cultural heritage. A strong emphasis is placed on the valuable role of parents as the first and most important teacher of their child.  With focus on the whole child's development in academic, social, emotional and physical growth, combined with a safe, caring environment created by skilled teachers implementing researched based curriculum.
